offers a permanent, luxe finish , ideal for most apparel, bags, caps, jackets and towels for a professional branded finish.
We have a large range of thread colours to select from. A sample of your new embroidered logo is provided after confirmation of an order , for your peace of mind before completing your order.
Some items and logos, namely with small text, fine detail or coloured gradients may not suitable for embroidery . We will advise if it needs to simplified and maybe suggest an alternative to obtain the best result. We understand the importance of consistent branding.
So Smart Uniforms & Embroidery are primarily a garment supplier and do not offer embroidery services on BYO headwear, hankies, wedding or heirloom gowns or any fabrics we feel will not get a good result.
We understand that sometimes you may have garments that you own already and that require embroidery. We are happy to accept new garments, once they have been approved, so please call to discuss.

Vinyl Heatpress
single coloured- suitable for small orders – range of vinyl colours available
Ideal for names and numbers on sports jerseys and simple designs when small order is required, such as a family reunion, commemorative birthday.

Screenprinting (Minimum order 25 units)
The process of ink application to garments one colour at a time with the use of films that have been etched with the design
Screenprinting is ideal for bulk orders and charges are based on quantity and number of colours in the design. Pantone colour codes are required.
Setup charges and repeat screen costs apply on repeat orders. Supacolour may be a cheaper option, so can be compared.
We only screenprint garments that we provide.

Supacolour – Ideal for 20 plus orders ( can start at 10 units
High quality, ecofriendly, durable, full colour heat transfer prints are ideal for multicoloured designs and gradients, fine detail or multiple sponsor logos grouped together,
It has been described as a cross between screenprinting and vinyl heatpress.
Pricing is based on quantity/print size. Fabrics will also affect which transfer type and cost.
As with all decoration , the better the artwork source , the better the result.
Sublimation – customised
Dye Sublimation is best suited to 20 plus garments ( min order is 10 units per design/style)
We need some time for design, sampling and approval processes before production commences and the delivery of the final result. Please allow 8-12 weeks for completion of an order from concept to completion on an initial order. Your event date, will be our first question.
Vibrant colours are achieved by the application of heat and pressure to bring ink and fabric together as one for a fade resistant result and
allows for full colour designs that can wrap around the garment. It can include several logos or personalisation offering a custom look for polos, jackets and more.

Embroidered Badges
minimum order is 25 per design/size – supply only
These are produced by embroidering onto a base cloth, produced a raised, textured effect
A great option to cover an old logo or for that embroidery patch look. Can be a useful option for remote workers
Iron on option available but we highly recommend they are either hand or machine stitched to secure
Woven Patches- minimum is generally 100 per design, depending on size – supply only. Sometimes less can be accommodated
These are produced on large machines that ‘weave’ the details within the fabric providing a fine detailed result.
If you have lots of detail and small text, this is one for you.
Can have an iron on backing . Sew on is always recommended.
These are not suitable for clothing labels.
Epaulettes- Woven and Embroidered min orders apply
Ideal for Security, Corrections, airlines, emergency services, transport and logistic businesses
Resin Coated Labels- recommended min is 250, however less can be done
These adhesive labels are suitable to brand a range of items including furniture, electronics, computer peripherals
